The City of Archive

The heart of Keehar’s civilization, its wonder and its demise, the last bastion of the Unknown Day, Archive is the island’s only remaining city. It was built from the carcasses of the First-Born dragons as a collective effort of Forest Shade, Moonlit and Fire dragons to ensure their unity and trust. At the heart of Archive is the source of its name: a massive bottomless chamber filled with silver threads that whisper and gleam in its still and heavy air. The threads represent the living memories of all sentient life of the island, both present and past. The Inner Archive was a gift from the Moonlit dragons to the pact of Forest Shade and Fire, and a display of their mastery of Keehar magic. Upon it a city was built and soon became the capital of Keehar, uniting all of its subjects under
its roof.
